About us: who is the Supply Chain Problem Solver
Luc Bongaerts
has more than fifteen years of proven experience as a supply chain problem solver.
He currently is active as business development manager for OM Partners, a leading
no-nonsense Supply Chain Solutions company with proven solutions for strategic, tactic
and operational planning levels in metals, corrugated board and semi-process industries.
Before that, he worked at other supply chain companies for 9 years, as account manager,
customer success manager,
support manager, consultant, and support consultant. In that respect, he has identified,
analyzed and solved a multitude of supply chain problems in various industries. Before that,
Luc worked for 7 years at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where he became an authority on
Holonic Manufacturing, developed a Ph.D. on integration of scheduling and control of holonic
manufacturing systems, and was one of the early promoters of MES in industry. Luc Bongaerts
holds a graduate on mechanical engineering at the same university.
